Magers and Quinn is an independently owned new and used bookseller located in the heart of the popular Uptown neighborhood in Minneapolis, near the lakes for which the city is famous.
Our main location in Uptown has been in operation since 1994, when Denny Magers moved his smaller bookstore, All Books, from its location near the University of Minnesota to Hennepin Avenue and gave the store its current name. From rather humble beginnings (some of us can still remember when many of our books were laid out on tables instead of bookshelves) the store has steadily grown. It is now one of the largest independent bookstores in the midwest.
